The Scorpio Races - Maggie Stiefvater It's interesting how Maggie Stiefvater has specific way to write a book. At first, when you start reading it, you think meh..this is boring, why everybody worship this book so much?
You continue reading, it's hard to say why. Perhaps the curiosity or something tells you to continue. It doesn't matter at the end.
The story goes on, you read it, and think about the creatures, about magic, about legend, without knowing you're at the end. One of the sings that shows that are your tears.
Slowly, without you noticing the book come under your skin and you don't know what to do about that.
This book for sure is not the best book I've ever read, neither are Shiver or Linger. But still I continue to worship them. Maybe the reason is they're under my skin, maybe not. I'm not sure.
That's how it works for me, for you I don't know.
